The United States men's national team (USMNT) has announced its 26-man roster for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The squad, which was selected by head coach Gregg Berhalter, features a mix of experienced veterans and rising stars, with several players making their first World Cup appearances. Among the notable inclusions are Borussia Dortmund forward Gio Reyna and Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah, both of whom are considered key pieces for the Americans' future.
The roster also includes Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic, who is the team's most capped active player and will be expected to lead the attack. Other notable players include Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Manchester City defender John Stones, and Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka.
The USMNT will face a tough test in Group B, where they will face England, Iran, and Wales. The team will be looking to make a strong showing in Qatar, and the roster that Berhalter has assembled gives them a good chance of doing just that.
