AC Installation and Shade Expansion to Provide Relief from Arkansas Heat

Razorback Fans to Enjoy Enhanced Game Day Experience in Upgraded Stadium

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The University of Arkansas has announced plans to enhance the fan experience at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The improvements, which will be completed by Thursday's game, include the installation of air conditioning units and the expansion of shade coverage in the stadium.

The air conditioning units will be installed in the stadium's concourses and seating areas, providing relief from the sweltering Arkansas heat.

The shade expansion will include the installation of new awnings and canopies over the stadium's seating sections.

The improvements are expected to cost approximately $1 million and are being funded by the university.

"We are committed to providing our fans with the best possible game day experience," said Hunter Yurachek, Arkansas' athletic director. "These improvements will make War Memorial Stadium a more comfortable and enjoyable place to watch a Razorback football game."

The improvements are expected to be completed in time for Thursday's game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

War Memorial Stadium is a 54,000-seat stadium that has been the home of the Razorbacks since 1947.

The stadium has hosted numerous memorable games over the years, including the Razorbacks' 1964 national championship victory.

The improvements to War Memorial Stadium are a sign of the university's commitment to providing its fans with a first-class game day experience.
